The Brothers Grimm is a film directed by Terry Gilliam in 2005 and starring Heath Ledger, Matt Damon and Monica Bellucci. Life in the remote countryside of the nineteenth century German who lived immersed in a world of myths and beliefs, collided head on with the enlightened spirit of the Napoleonic invaders creating a conflict that has sought to reflect the visionary Terry Gilliam (Brazil, 12 Monkeys) in The Brothers Grimm. This is the story of the brothers Grimm, the cynical Will and Jacob the dreamer that refused to live in a world too real (Add story of your own here). The two try to make a living cheating the poor villagers. They tell stories of curses and ghosts and spirits that surround them and later save by exorcisms and rituals vary in exchange for some money. Together they toured collecting and disseminating many roads fairy tales, witches and evil beasts until, on one occasion, trying to escape the French authorities for scammers, they come to a small town. The problem comes when they learn that a curse on the real, near a haunted forest where girls have recently disappeared many, forcing parents to dress like men. The town finds out about the reputation of “exterminators” of the Brothers Grimm, and convinced to help them in their problem with the help of Angelica, they discover an evil witch is the disappearing girls, making them sleep for young and beautiful. In this film make their appearance in the village Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel, among other characters that originally appear in the stories of these two brothers.
