Coupled with the stereotype that women are regarded in the community like primp, royal and consumer labeling makes women more negatively reinforced. This phenomenon, which in turn makes the story idea for a movie called Confessions of a Shopaholic.

Confessions of a Shopaholic is a comedy starring Isla Fisher, Hugh Dancy, Joan Cusack, John Goodman, John Lithgow and directed by P. J. Hogan. Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher) is a young journalist from New York pathological addicted to shopping and spending (shopaholic).
